MOBILE, Ala. (March 25, 2008) -- Several Gulf Coast charities, as well
as area golfers, will once again reap the benefits of the RBC Centura
Bank Senior Bowl Charity Open.
The fourth annual event is
set for Friday, May 9, at Magnolia Grove. Proceeds raised from the
Charity Open will go to area charities and agencies supporting youth and
youth-related services along the Gulf Coast each year.

Participants in the third
annual RBC Centura Bank Senior Bowl Charity Open get set to
head out to the beautiful Magnolia Grove course. Proceeds
from the event went to Senior Bowl Charities, which benefit
youth and youth-related services along the Gulf Coast.

“As an active supporter of
the communities we serve, we’re once again proud to join forces with the
Senior Bowl and to serve as title sponsor of this year’s RBC Centura
Bank Senior Bowl Charity Open,” said Cedric Hatcher, market president.
“This is just one of the many ways we strive to make a positive
difference in the areas we call home.”
The RBC Centura Bank
Senior Bowl Charity Open is open to the general public. Cost is $175 per
player, or $700 for a four-person team. Area companies and individuals
may also purchase hole sponsorships for just $100 each.
The event will kickoff
with a Tailgate Tee-Off Party, featuring seafood and live music, at
Oysterella’s Restaurant on the Causeway on Thursday, May 8.

Golfers enjoy some of
the delicious food at the post-golf awards party,
catered by Morrissette & Company.

Players will be treated to
a lunch and post-golf awards party on the day of the event, a generous
gift package, specially-designed football themed awards for the winning
teams and extensive door prizes.
