The Mobile Arts and Sports Association,
Inc., is the parent organization of the Senior Bowl. Organized in
August, 1951, MASA is a non-profit corporation dedicated wholly to
public benefit. Composed of Mobile business and civic leaders, MASA was
organized and incorporated for the purpose of promoting and advancing
the civic, social, cultural, recreational and artistic life of the
community of Mobile and its environs. One of MASA’s first undertakings
was the sponsorship and promotion of the Senior Bowl football game.
