NFL Network To Offer
Unprecedented Coverage of
2007 Under Armour Senior Bowl
Network will air over
19 hours of live coverage of the game and its practices.
MOBILE,
Ala. (January 16, 2007) -- The NFL Network kicks off another
tradition next week as it begins the exclusive broadcast of the 2007
Under Armour Senior Bowl game and its practices, offering an
unprecedented amount of live coverage of the event.
The Senior Bowl and the NFL Network
announced last April a landmark, exclusive multi-year agreement which
will give the event more worldwide exposure than ever before on multiple
mediums including national television, internet and satellite radio.
The broadcast team for the Under Armour
Senior Bowl game features former NFL head coach Dick Vermeil, who spent
14 years as a college football broadcaster, college football expert Mike
Mayock and play-by-play announcer Rich Eisen.

The Under Armour Senior Bowl airs live
on NFL Network on Saturday, January 27 at 3:00 PM from Ladd-Peebles
Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.
In addition to live coverage of the
game, NFL Network will also air over 14 hours of week-long coverage
during Senior Bowl Week which includes extensive coverage of all of its
practice sessions.
The NFL Network will also air half-hour
Senior Bowl practice highlight shows during the week in primetime, will
feature Senior pre-game and post-game shows, and offer extensive
coverage of Senior Bowl Week during its signature news show, “NFL Total
Access”.
As important as the game is to
potential NFL players, the practice sessions are when the players have
an outstanding chance to impress NFL coaching staffs.
Live practice coverage begins on
Monday, January 22 at 3:00 p.m. as host Paul Burmeister and analysts
Charles Davis, Pat Kirwan and Mayock provide fans with a window on the
action all week, including analysis of top prospect performances and
interviews with team officials.
The coaching staffs from the Tampa Bay
Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers will coach the two squads led by head
coaches Jon Gruden (North team) and Mike Nolan (South team).

Under Armour Senior Bowl week takes
place during the week between the NFL Conference Championships and the
Super Bowl. The game and practices are key tools used by NFL coaches,
scouts and training staffs to judge the best talent in the country as
they prepare for the NFL Draft.
The Under Armour Senior Bowl features
100 of the country’s best senior collegiate football players on teams
representing the North and South.
On average, 11 NFL first-round draft
choices play in the Under Armour Senior Bowl each year with 95 percent
of players in the game making active NFL rosters. In 2006, 15
first-round draft picks played in the game.
The Senior Bowl game and coverage of
its practice sessions will also air on Sirius Satellite Radio, giving
the event several hours of worldwide radio exposure, as well. Senior
Bowl content will also appear throughout the week on NFL.com, the
official website of the NFL.
NFL Network announced in early 2006 the
addition of live NFL regular season games during the 2006 season after
attaining rights to the “run up to the playoffs” eight game,
Thursday/Saturday package which began last November. It will also offer
live coverage of this year’s NFL Draft.

NFL Network’s lineup of programming
this year has included 180 football games, including primetime
regular-season NFL games, preseason games, game re-airs of NFL
regular-season games, NFL Europa contests, and the Senior Bowl.
Launched in November of 2003, NFL
Network is fully owned an operated by the National Football League,
offering seven days a week, 24 hours a day on a year-round basis. It is
the first television network fully dedicated to the NFL and the sport of
football.
