MOBILE, Ala. (November 6, 2007) -- Indianapolis Colts running back Joseph Addai became the first player in franchise history to rush for over 100 yards and also have 100 yards receiving in the same game, a record-setting performance which earned him the Senior Bowl NFL Alumni Top Offensive Performer award for Week Nine of the 2007 NFL season.

Addai rushed for 112 yards on 26 carries, and caught five passes for 114 yards, including a 73-yard touchdown, in the Colts-Patriots battle of NFL unbeatens.

Addai edged out Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre, a two-time Top Performer winner, who had another stellar game with 360 passing yards and two TD’s in the Packers’ 33-22 win over Kansas City.

New York Jets linebacker David Harris turned in the top defensive performance in the NFL thus far in 2007, as he recorded an NFL-season high 24 total tackles – 20 unassisted – to easily win the Senior Bowl NFL Alumni Top Defensive Performance Award for the second straight week.

Harris has recorded an amazing 41 total tackles over the last two games.

Over 575 former Senior Bowl players are currently active in the NFL.

Other top performances by former Senior Bowl players in the NFL during Week Nine included:

Passing:

  • Donovan McNabb, Philadelphia – Passed for 264 yards and a touchdown.
  • Patrick Ramsey, Denver – Completed 29 of 46 for 262 yards and a TD in relief role of injured starter Jay Cutler.
  • Carson Palmer, Cincinnati – Passed for 271 yards and two touchdowns.
  • J.P. Losman, Buffalo – Turned in outstanding effort in Bills’ 33-21 win over Bengals, completing 24-34 for 295 yards and touchdown.
  • Brett Favre, Green Bay – completed 24-34 for 360 yards and two TD’s in win over Chiefs.

Rushing:

  • Justin Fargas, Oakland – gained 104 yards on 23 carries and scored a TD.
  • Brian Westbrook, Philadelphia – -- rushed for 65 yards and scored a TD and also added 14 catches for 90 yards in outstanding rushing/receiving performance for Eagles.
  • Larry Johnson, Kansas City – Accounted for 95 yards rushing and receiving and scored two TD’s.
  • Receiving:
  • Terrell Owens, Dallas – Caught ten passes for 174 yards and a touchdown in Cowboys’ 38-17 victory.
  • Jerricho Cotchery, New York Jets – Caught five passes for 90 yards.

Defense:

  • Darnell Dockett, DL, Arizona – Recorded two sacks and ten total tackles, nine unassisted.
  • Angelo Crowell, LB, Buffalo – Had 14 total tackles, 11 unassisted.
  • Stuart Schweigert, DB, Oakland – Hard-hitting safety had eight total tackles and an interception.
  • DeMarcus Ware, LB, Dallas – Had eight tackles, seven unassisted, and 1.5 quarterback sacks.
  • Patrick Willis, LB, San Francisco – Had another double-digit tackle game, recording ten total tackles, seven unassisted, and half a sack.
  • Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, DL, Green Bay – Recorded two sacks and two other tackles in Packers’ win.
  • Michael Boley, LB, Atlanta – Recorded ten total tackles, nine unassisted, and forced a fumble in Falcons’ 20-16 victory.
