MOBILE, Ala. (December 27, 2007) --
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb won the Senior Bowl NFL
Alumni Top Offensive Performer of the Week Award for his performance in
Week 16 against the New Orleans Saints.
McNabb, who represented Syracuse in the
1999 Senior Bowl, turned in an outstanding performance, completing 24-33
passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns and also rushing for 40 yards
to engineer a 38-23 victory over the Saints.

Other top offensive performances by Senior
Bowl alums in Week 16 included last week’s winner, running back Fred
Taylor of the Jaguars, who gained 111 yards on just 7 carries; LaDainian
Tomlinson of the Chargers, who had his fourth straight 100-yard rushing
game; and Taylor’s Jaguars teammate David Garrard, who passed for two
TD’s in a 49-11 win over the Raiders to secure his team a spot in the
playoffs.
Defensively, San Francisco 49ers
linebacker Patrick Willis continued one of the greatest rookie seasons
of any linebacker in NFL history, recording an amazing 20 total tackles,
two sacks, one forced fumble and one pass defensed in the 49ers game
against Tampa Bay.
Willis, the 11th overall player selected
in the 2007 Draft, now has 162 total tackles on the year which leads all
defensive players in the NFL and is 29 more than any other defender. He
has also been named the top Senior Bowl defensive alumni three times
during the season.

Other top defensive performances by Senior
Bowl alums included a 11-tackle, three sack, one forced fumble effort by
2008 Pro Bowl selection Kyle Vanden Bosch of the Titans, while Chicago
Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher had five tackles and intercepted a pass
which he returned 85 yards for a touchdown in the Bears’ victory over
Green Bay.
Over 575 former Senior Bowl players are
currently active in the NFL, including 24 players who were named to the
rosters for the 2008 NFL Pro Bowl game.
The 2008 Under Armour Senior Bowl is
scheduled for Saturday, January 26, with kickoff set for 3:00 p.m. For

Bowl players in the NFL during Week 15 included:
Passing:
- Chris Redman, Atlanta – Competed
28-42 for 315 yards and two touchdowns.
- Chad Pennington, New York Jets –
Had 264 passing yards, completing 26-32, and one touchdown.
- David Garrard, Jacksonville – Was
an efficient 11-18 for 199 yards and two scores and Jaguars’
clinched playoff spot.
Rushing:
- LaDainian Tomlinson, San Diego –
Rushed for 107 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown for his fourth
straight 100-yard rushing game.
- Brian Westbrook, Philadelphia –
Rushed for 100 yards on 17 carries, giving him a career high 1,291
rushing yards for the season.
- Adrian Peterson, Chicago – Gained
102 yards on 30 carries and added a TD in Bears’ victory over
Packers.
Receiving:
- Jerricho Cotchery, New York Jets –
Had 152 receiving yards on eight catches including a touchdown.
- Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis –
Continued stellar Pro Bowl season with ten catches for 143 yards and
a touchdown.
- Roddy White, Atlanta – Caught 12
passes for 141 yards.
- Amani Toomer, New York Giants –
Had five receptions for 99 yards as Giants clinched playoff berth.
- Derrick Mason, Baltimore – Caught
five passes for 98 yards and a TD.
Defense:
- Brian Urlacher, LB, Chicago – Had
five total tackles an intercepted a pass which he returned 85 yards
for a touchdown in Bears’ 35-7 win over Green Bay.
- Kyle Vanden Bosch, DL, Tennessee –
2008 Pro Bowler had 11 total tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble
and help limit Jets to only 68 total rushing yards.
- Chad Greenway, LB, Minnesota – Had
11 total tackles, eight unassisted.
- Joey Porter, LB, Miami – Recorded
five total tackles, two sacks and also forced a fumble.
- David Harris, LB, New York Jets –
Outstanding rookie had eight tackles, one sack and a forced fumble.
- Calvin Pace, LB, Arizona – Had
nine total tackles and a sack.
- Stewart Bradley, LB, Philadelphia
– Rookie had six tackles, a sack and an interceptions in Eagles’
victory.
- Kenoy Kennedy, DB, Detroit –
Recorded 11 total tackles, nine unassisted.
- Alex Brown, DL, Chicago – Had five
tackles, a sack and an interception.
- Corey Chavous, DB, St. Louis –
Made 12 tackles and also added a quarterback sack.
