Hawaii's Brennan Named Heisman
Finalist
Record-setting
quarterback who will play in the 2008 Under Armour Senior Bowl is lone
senior among four finalists headed to New York.
MOBILE, Ala. (December
5, 2007) -- Hawaii’s record-setting quarterback Colt Brennan, who
has already announced his plans to participate in the 2008 Under Armour
Senior Bowl, has been named one of four finalists for college football’s
highest individual award -- the 2007 Heisman Trophy.
Brennan, the holder of 20 NCAA passing and
total offense marks, led Hawaii to its greatest season in school history
– an undefeated 12-0 season, a number ten national ranking and a spot in
the Allstate Sugar Bowl on January 1 against Georgia.
The 6-3, 196-pounder is also the lone
senior among the four finalists headed to the Heisman Trophy
presentation in New York on December 8.

Brennan has passed for 4,174 yards and
completed 71 percent of his passes to lead the nation’s top-ranked
scoring offense, which averages 46 points per game. He also ranks second
in the nation in total offense, and has thrown for 38 touchdowns during
the season.
