To Play In
Under Armour Senior Bowl
Big 12 Defensive

nation with 120 solo tackles.
MOBILE, Ala. (December
12, 2007) --
Colorado linebacker Jordon Dizon, a consensus first-team All-American
and finalist for the Butkus Award, will bring his talents to the 2008
Under Armour Senior Bowl, bowl officials have announced.
Dizon, named to the first-team Associated
Press All-American squad which was announced on Tuesday, was also one of
three finalists for the Butkus Award, presented annually to the best
linebacker in college football.
The 2007 Big 12 Defensive Player of the
Year and first-team Walter Camp All-American, Dizon leads the nation
with 120 solo tackles during a stellar senior campaign which has also
seen him record 160 total tackles (second in the nation), a
school-record 19 third-down stops and is tied for the team lead with 11
tackles for loss.

The 6-0, 220-pound native of Kauai,
Hawaii, also became the first defensive player to be named Colorados
MVP since former Senior Bowler and current San Francisco 49ers defensive
back Michael Lewis in 2000.
Dizon, whose Buffaloes will face Alabama
in the PetroSun Independence Bowl on December 30, has recorded 440 total
tackles during his career including 35 tackles for loss.
The 59th annual Under Armour Senior Bowl
is scheduled for Saturday, January 26, 2008. Tickets sell for $24, $18
