MOBILE,
Ala. (November 16, 2007) -- Fans may purchase their tickets to the
2008 Under Armour Senior Bowl at 20 different outlet locations now open
in the Mobile and Pensacola area, and also receive free Food World
Tailgate Party passes if they purchase their tickets at area Food World
stores.
In addition to the ticket outlets, game
officials also emphasized that fans can also continue to order their
tickets through the bowl’s website or by calling the ticket office at

Each of the past 13 Senior Bowl games have
been sellouts in Mobile’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The 59th annual contest
is set for January 26, 2008, with kickoff at 3:00 p.m., and the contest
will also be nationally-televised by the NFL Network.
Under Armour Senior Bowl 2008 will once
again offer fans the unique opportunity to see the nation’s best senior
collegiate football players, top draft prospects and future NFL stars in
one place, at one time. This year, fans will also be treated to pre-game
and halftime shows featuring the University of Alabama “Million Dollar
Band” and the New Orleans Saints Saintsations.
"We wanted to make it easy as possible for
fans to experience all of the excitement and unique entertainment that
will be a part of Senior Bowl Saturday 2008 by offering the convenience
of multiple ticket outlets located throughout Mobile and Baldwin County,
as well as Pensacola, Fla.,” said Senior Bowl sales and community
development director Sonya Rayburn.
Ticket prices for this year’s Senior Bowl
have remained the same for the seventh straight year, with sideline
seats once again set at just $24 and $18 and end zone tickets available
for only $12 each.
"We feel that it is extremely important
that we continue to be able to offer our fans a quality event at an
affordable price, so we were very pleased to be able to keep ticket
prices the same again this year," said Rayburn.
Fans may currently purchase $18 tickets at
all 13 Mobile and Pensacola area Food World locations, as well as the
Food World located in Monroeville, Ala. Anyone purchasing a ticket at
Food World will also receive a free pass to the Sixth Annual Food World
Tailgate Party for each ticket purchased.
The popular Food World Tailgate Party is
one of the nation's largest free tailgate parties and will once again
offer 3,500 fans free food, musical entertainment and interactive games
and activities in the Ladd-Peebles Stadium Parking lot on Senior Bowl
Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
"Fans need to be aware that the Tailgate
Party passes are available only at area Food World stores and are
limited to a total of 3,500," said Rayburn. "We strongly recommend that
if you'd like to attend the Tailgate Party prior to this year's game,
then you should purchase your tickets at Food World stores as soon as
possible."
Additional ticket outlets will be located
at the following Regions Bank locations: Bel Air, University Oaks and
Tillman’s Corner in Mobile, and in Baldwin County at the Malbis location
and also at two branches in Foley.
