|FSU's Smith had 8 tackles, a sack and an interception in the win over Duke.
MOBILE -- Telvin Smith has been Florida State's emotional and vocal leader during its undefeated run through the regular season.
The Seminoles' outside linebacker can back it up on the field, too. The senior racked up eight tackles (two for loss), added a sack and an interception in the 'Noles' rout of Duke in the ACC Championship game.
He is the Reese's Senior Bowl College Senior of the Week.
Through 13 games he has a team-leading 75 tackles (9.5 for loss), two sacks and three interceptions.
Smith and the 'Noles (13-0) will face Auburn (12-1) in the BCS Championship Game in Pasadena on January 6.
ABRAHAM CAN STILL DELIVER, PASSES 'LT'
John Abraham was looking for a job as training camps opened around the NFL this past Summer. One of the league's all-time sack leaders was not renewed by the Atlanta Falcons, leaving him out on the open market.
The Arizona Cardinals scooped him up and Abraham has never looked back. Sunday, the 35-year-old Abraham had five tackles, three sacks, three tackles for loss and a forced fumble. Abraham also added a safety early in the fourth quarter as the Cardinals routed the Rams, 30-10.
Abraham, who was inducted into the Reese's Senior Bowl Hall of Fame in March, is our Alumnus of the Week.
He has 11 sacks and four forced fumbles in his past seven games. His three sacks on Sunday pushed him past Lawrence Taylor and Leslie O'Neal into ninght on the all-time sack list with 133.
"Passing LT was one of my goals coming into the year," Abraham said. "I always try to get 10 every year, and I knew 10 would put me right there."
