MOBILE, Ala. (Dec. 19) - Five more players have been added to the rosters for the 2017 Reese's Senior Bowl, including a pair from Michigan and Illinois.
The new additions push the total number of players to accept invitations to 86. The Reese's Senior Bowl will bring approximately 110 players to Mobile to compete and interview in front of the NFL.
Practices begin on Jan. 24, with the game scheduled for Jan. 28, 2017 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. Kickoff is set for 1:30pm on NFL Network. Practices will be televised on NFL Network and ESPN2 or ESPNU.
The five players added to the roster on Monday (alphabetical):
Amara Darboh, WR, Michigan – All-Big Ten performer who set career-highs in receiving yards (826) and touchdowns (7) this season. Became an American citizen over the summer.
Ryan Glasgow, DT, Michigan – Three-year starter on the defensive line. Key cog in the middle. 9.5 tackle for loss and 4.0 sacks this year.
Tyler Orlosky, OC, West Virginia – All-American and three-year starter and arguably the best center in the nation. Paved the way for rushing attack averaging 349.5 yards per game.
Carroll Phillips, DE/LB, Illinois – First-year starter and First-Team All-Big Ten. Second in FBS with 20.0 tackles for loss and led the team with 9.0 sacks.
Dawuane Smoot, DE/LB, Illinois – All-Big Ten performer matched his junior total of 15.0 tackles for loss. Touted as a potential first round draft pick in the preseason.
