MOBILE -- Alabama's AJ McCarron may have been the 'other' quarterback in last Saturday's showdown between the top-ranked Crimson Tide and Texas A&M, but the senior signal caller walked away with a win and our College Senior of the Week award.
McCarron completed 20-29 passes for 334 yards and four TDs in Alabama's 49-42 win over Johnny Manziel and the 6th-ranked Aggies.
With the Tide trailing early, 14-0, McCarron turned to the air, completing 11 of his next 12 pass attempts as the Tide resonded with 35 consecutive points.
Alabama's offense finished with 568 total yards and proved to be its best defense, keeping Manziel on the sideline.

Mobile Christian running back Tyler Rogers has run for 1,500 yards the past two seasons and appears to be well on his way to eclipsing that mark this season.
The senior torched Leroy's defense for 214 yards on 14 carries and four touchdowns in a 42-14 win over Leroy. Rogers scored on runs of 80, 67, 3 and 8 yards in the victory.
