MOBILE -- Three red-hot quarterbacks grabbed the Reese's Senior Bowl Player of the Week honors, all leading their teams to victories over the weekend.
Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 322 yards and three touchdowns to lead Eastern past Eastern Kentucky, 42-7, and stake its claim as the top team in the Ohio Valley Conference. Statistically, it wasn't close to his best performance of the season.
Earlier in the season, he torched San Diego State for 361 yards and three scores, then followed that with even better games against Southern Illinois (440 yards, four TDs) and Illinois State (480 yards, seven TDs).
For his efforts on Saturday -- and the entire season so far -- Garoppolo is the Reese's Senior Bowl College Senior of the Week.
Garoppolo has been a four-year starter for Eastern Illinois and recently passed New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton to become the school's career leader in completions. He has 79 career TD passes, six away from tying Tony Romo's school record of 85.

RIVERS SETS RECORD IN BOLTS' VICTORY
San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers continued his torrid start, putting up video game-like numbers in the Chargers' win over the Cowboys on Sunday.
Rivers completed 35-of-42 passes for 401 yards and three touchdowns in the Bolt's 30-21 victory over the Cowboys.
He is the Reese's Senior Bowl Alumnus of the week for the second time this season.
After having three 400-yard games in his nine-year career coming into this season, Rivers now has two through four games in 2013. He set a record for the highest completion percentage in one game (83%) for a quarterback who has thrown for more than 400 yards.
JOHNSTON LEADS TOROS
Spanish Fort sophomore quarterback Tyler Johnson led the Toros' balanced attack as it rolled over previously unbeaten Fairhope, 38-14, on Friday.
He is the Reese's Senior Bowl Gulf Coast Player of the Week.
Johnston completed 16-of-20 passes for 229 yards. He threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as Spanish Fort built a 21-0 lead at halftime and cruised to the win.
