Senior Bowl to Distribute One Thousand Turkeys at 6th Annual Turkey Bowl at Hancock Whitney Stadium
First-Come/First-Serve Food Distribution Begins at 2:30 p.m.
MOBILE, Ala. – The Senior Bowl will host its 6th Annual Turkey Bowl, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Hancock Whitney Stadium on the campus of the University of South Alabama.
The Senior Bowl, in partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, Hancock Whitney Bank, Greer’s Markets, Feeding the Gulf Coast, and members of the Senior Bowl Ambassador Club, will distribute 1,000 Thanksgiving meals to families in need throughout the Mobile community.
Outside the stadium, staff and volunteers from each partner organization will assemble and distribute the meals on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 2:30 p.m. Inside the stadium, the Turkey Bowl football games will feature matchups between Senior Bowl NFL Flag League champions and youth tackle football teams from Mobile-area parks, CYO, and private school leagues.
“Thanksgiving is a time to gather in gratitude and reflect on the many blessings we share, but for far too many in our community, the reality of hunger overshadows the holiday,” says Michael Ledger, President and CEO of Feeding the Gulf Coast. “We are thankful for partners like the Senior Bowl, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, Hancock Whitney Bank and Greer’s Markets who come together each year to help ensure families facing food insecurity can enjoy a traditional meal and the comfort of knowing their community cares.”
