Before the game even kicks off, a winner will already be crowned - in the Ladd-Peebles Stadium parking lot. In an effort to celebrate one of college football's long-standing traditions, a competition was created in 2004 to determine the best tailgater at the Senior Bowl each year. With the help of Baumhower's Restaurant, the Senior Bowl Tailgate Challenge was born.
Participants in the event are judged on the right combination of good food, originality and outstanding presentation. The winner is recognized on the field during the first half of the Reese's Senior Bowl game. In 2016, 'Boy's Day Out' from Mobile, Ala. took home top honors, which included a trophy and a prize package from Academy Sports & Outdoors, valued at over $1,000. Learn More
