Barrett, Phillips named Seniors of Week

J.T. Barrett, QB, Ohio State
Barrett has re-emerged in the Heisman Trophy conversation after leading his team back from down 21-3 against then-No. 2 Penn State in the 39-38 win. The only three-time captain in Ohio State history totaled 423 yards and was a perfect 13-for-13 passing in the fourth quarter with 3 touchdowns. In all, Barrett gained 95 yards on the ground and completed 33-of-39 passes for 328 yards and 4 touchdowns. Barrett also became the Big Ten all-time leader with 94 career touchdown passes and completed a school record 16 consecutive passes in the game. His 423 yards of total offense was also a single-game school record.

Phillips continued his reign as an offensive line wrecker as his two fumble recoveries and constant pressure on the pocket helped the Cardinal defense avoid an upset on the road at Oregon State. Phillips finished the game with 9 tackles, 2 tackles for loss and 2 fumble recoveries. The senior nose tackle still leads the team in total tackles and is 10th in the Pac-12. His second fumble recovery secured the ball for Stanford's game-winning drive.

Reese's Senior Bowl Alumnus of the Week

Wilson put the team on his shoulders and carried them to a 41-38 victory over the Houston Texans. Wilson threw for a career-high 452 yards and tied a career-high with four touchdown passes, including the game-winner to Jimmy Graham with just 21 seconds left. Wilson was nearly the entire Seahawks' offense in this game. He accounted for 30 of Seattle's 33 rushing yards to go with his prolific day through the air.
