MOBILE, Ala. (Dec. 12) -- With 44 days remaining until the kickoff of the 70th Reese's Senior Bowl and less than 40 days until players report, the roster for the 2019 game is up to 94 players.
Alabama linebacker Christian Miller, Texas cornerback Kris Boyd and Baylor receiver Jalen Hurd were all added to the roster today, along with a pair of kickers (Cole Tracy, LSU and Austin Seibert, Oklahoma) and the game's two long snappers (Dan Godsil, Indiana) and Nick Moore (Georgia).
With at least 16 more roster spots to fill, the SEC leads the way with 19 players in the game currently. The Pac-12 is second with 15, followed by the Big 12 (13), Big Ten (12) and ACC (11).
Texas CB Kris Boyd is a first-team All-Big 12 selection.
Miller, an edge rusher for the top-ranked Crimson Tide, has 12 quarterback hurries this season, 7.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss. Hurd, a converted running back from Tennessee, is recovering from a knee procedure after catching 69 passes this season for 946 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 209 yards and three more scores. Boyd, a first team All-Big 12 selection this season, has 16 pass breakups while often matching up with the opponent's top receiver.
