2017 (Senior): All-Big Ten honoree (second team, coaches and media), all-Big Ten selection by the Associated Press (second team offense), accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl, earned Offensive Lineman of the Game recognition for his performances against Cincinnati, Indiana and Rutgers, started at left tackle in the opener against Florida at the Advocare Classic (Sept. 2), Cincinnati (Sept. 9), Air Force (Sept. 16), Purdue (Sept. 23), Michigan State (Oct. 7), Indiana (Oct. 14), Penn State (Oct. 21), Rutgers (Oct. 28), Minnesota (Nov. 4), Maryland (Nov. 11), Wisconsin (Nov. 18) and Ohio State (Nov. 25), tied Jon Jansen for most con- secutive starts for a Michigan offensive lineman against Ohio State as a senior (50 consecutive)

2016 (Junior): All-Big Ten second team (coaches and media), played in all 13 games at center and earned his third varsity letter, preseason watch list member for the Outland and Rimington Trophy awards, made first career start at center vs. Hawaii (Sept. 3), started his 30th consecutive game in the victory against Wisconsin (Oct. 1) and was named Offensive Lineman of the Game, started at center and played snaps at left tackle against Rutgers (Oct. 8), played center and earned Michigan' Offensive Lineman of the Game vs. Michigan State (Oct. 29) and vs. Maryland (Nov. 5), started third straight game against Ohio State (Nov. 26), made starting assignment at center vs. Florida State in the Orange Bowl (Dec. 30)
