2013 (JUNIOR): Veteran defender who started all 13 games at outside linebacker (SAM) … made 33 tackles with 5.5 for loss (27 yards), three sacks (22 yards), four quarterback hurries and two pass breakups. Virginia Tech: Made two assisted tackles, one for loss. Texas A&M: Totaled three tackles with a solo stop against the No. 6 Aggies … also batted down two Johnny Manziel passes. Colorado State: Made five tackles with four solo stops, in 31-6 victory over the Rams … registered 1.5 tackles for loss (4 yards) and had a quarterback hurry. Ole Miss: Recorded three total stops with two solo tackles in 25-0 shutout of the Rebels. Georgia State: Had one solo stop in limited action during 45-3 victory over the Panthers on Homecoming. Kentucky: Registered three solo tackles in 48-7 road victory over the Wildcats, as the Tide defense surrendered only 170 total yards. Arkansas: Made one assisted tackle. Tennessee: Recorded two assisted tackles and one quarterback hurry against the Volunteers. LSU: Registered 1.5 tackles for loss (10 yards) with one sack (9 yards), as the Tide limited LSU to 43 yards rushing and 284 total yards. Mississippi State: Produced one of his most active games in the pass rush, with a sack (-7 yards) and two quarterback hurries ... helped limit the Bulldogs to 53 yards rushing and 197 total yards. Chattanooga: Made one solo and one assisted tackle against the Mocs. Auburn: Notched his third sack in the past four games, dropping Nick Marshall for a loss of six yards … totaled six tackles with four solo stops. Oklahoma: In his final game at Alabama, made two solo tackles and knocked down a pass.

2012 (SOPHOMORE): Started 13 games at strongside “sam” linebacker while playing in all 14 ... specialized in rushing the quarterback, with 41 total tackles (24 solo), 11 tackles for loss (-54 yards), seven sacks (-44 yards), a team-best three forced fumbles, a pass breakup and four quarterback hurries ... two-time Alabama defensive player of the week (Arkansas & LSU) and the SEC defensive player of the week following LSU game … had a sack in each of the final three games of the season (Auburn, Georgia and Notre Dame). Michigan: Made his first career start versus the Wolverines ... had one solo tackle. Western Kentucky: Very active game saw him total career-high six tackles, all solo ... also caused fumble for first time in his career (part of Tide’s four forced turnovers vs. WKU) ... notched his first quarterback hurry of the season.  Arkansas: Named one of the defensive players of the week by the Alabama coaching staff ... totaled three tackles, including two for a loss of 14 yards and a sack for a loss of eight ... helped create havoc in the backfield, as Razorbacks managed only 79 passing yards. Florida Atlantic: Made one solo tackle against the Owls ... part of the Tide’s starting unit that allowed only 35 yards of offense in three quarters of action. Mississippi: Recorded a career-best 1.5 sacks (10 yards) ... made three total tackles and batted down a pass. Missouri: His blindside sack deep in Alabama territory forced a fumble and denied a scoring opportunity late in the second quarter ... made three tackles (two solo) ... had two tackles for loss (nine yards) ... helped hold Tigers to three yards rushing and 129 total yards. Tennessee: Had one solo tackle during 44-13 win in Knoxville. Mississippi State: Recorded two quarterback hurries ... also forced a holding penalty on the Bulldogs left tackle deep in their own territory. LSU: Earned SEC defensive player of the week after registering a career-best 12 tackles (doubling his previous best) ... had 2.5 solo stops (7 yards), including an assisted sack (4 yards) ...  recorded two solo tackles. Texas A&M: Made one solo tackle against the Aggies. Western Carolina: Registered two assisted tackles in 49-0 win over the Catamounts. Auburn: Was very active in 49-0 shutout of the Tigers ... recorded two solo tackles, had one sack and forced a fumble. Georgia: Recorded a sack for the second straight week ... had four solo tackles and an additional quarterback hurry ... his sack thwarted the Bulldogs’ drive immediately following Alabama’s final go-ahead touchdown with 3:15 remaining in the game. Notre Dame: Registered a sack for the third consecutive week, dropping Everett Golson for a five-yard loss … finished the game with two tackles while helping limit the Fighting Irish to only 32 yards rushing.   

2011 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Gave Alabama a dangerous threat off the edge as a reserve jack linebacker ... played in nine games and recorded nine tackles, including 1.5 for a loss of five yards and a quarterback hurry. North Texas: Made his first career tackle with an assisted stop in the 41-0 shutout. Arkansas: Registered a solo tackle and a quarterback hurry in the win against the Razorbacks. Florida: Came off the bench to record two tackles, including a solo stop. Vanderbilt: Registered two tackles, including one for a loss of four yards. Mississippi: Assisted on one tackle and was credited with half a tackle for a loss of one yard. Tennessee: Assisted on one tackle in the win against the Volunteers. LSU: Assisted on one tackle.

2010 (REDSHIRT): Took a redshirt during his first year at the Capstone.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Came to the Capstone as a third-team EA Sports All-American … ranked 54th in the final ESPNU 150 and listed as the No. 5 defensive end after his impressive performance in the Under Armour All-America Game … ranked as the No. 10 defensive end nationally by Rivals.com and was ranked 189th in the final Rivals250 … No. 14 in Atlanta Journal-Constitution 2010 Top 50 … No. 48 on Mobile Press-Register’s Super Southeast 120 … named All-Southeast Region by PrepStar … racked up 102 tackles and 10 sacks as a senior at Norcross High School for head coach Keith Maloof … No. 41 in the state of Georgia by SuperPrep magazine … chose the Crimson Tide over Florida State, South Carolina, Clemson, Auburn and Kentucky.
