SENIOR (2018): 

• A first-team All-ACC performer.

• The Wolfpack’s leading tackler with 104 total.

• Ranked second in the ACC with 9.5 stops per contest - that mark ranked 34th in the FBS. He was the ACC leader for much of the season. • Ranked fourth in the ACC in solo tackles (5.0 per game).

• Also led the team with 11 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. He ranked eighth in the ACC with 0.55 sacks per contest.

• Missed the UNC game with an injury and did not participate in the Wolfpack’s bowl game.

• Led the team in tackles in eight of the 11 games he played in. • ACC Player of the Week after tallying a career-high 16 stops at Syracuse.

• Also named the ACC Player of the Week for the win over Boston College after finishing with a career best 13 tackles and helping seal the win by stripping the ball late in the 4th quarter.

• A team captain in his first year as a starter (WLB)

• Tallied a then-career-high 12 tackles in the season opener while playing a career-high 71 snaps.

• Topped both marks with 16 tackles in 87 plays at Syracuse.

• Played LB for the first time in 2017 - he started one game at safety as a true freshman.

• Although he had never started a game at linebacker before the 2018 campaign, he ranked 16th among returning ACC players in tackles heading into the season. 

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2017): 

• Fourth-leading tackler even though he did not start a game. Rotated in with two senior starters.

• First Wolfpack defender to score a pair of touchdowns in a season since David Amerson in 2011. 

• Returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown in the win over Louisville to seal that Wolfpack victory.

• Recovered a blocked punt for a score at Notre Dame.

• Also picked off a pass to seal the win over UNC in the regular season finalé - he returned it 75 yards.

• Leading tackler in the win at Pitt with nine stops.

• Awarded a game ball vs. Louisville.

• Earned the team’s Ken McNeill Iron Wolf Award for making a comeback from an injury.

• Can play both linebacker spots.

REDSHIRT (2016): 

• Redshirted the season after undergoing shoulder surgery, he moved from safety to linebacker during his year out.

SOPHOMORE (2015): 

• Backup free safety who saw action in 166 snaps.

FRESHMAN (2014): 

• Backup at free safety, he got the start at Louisville.

• Tallied six tackles in just 16 snaps vs. Boston College.

• Enrolled at NC State for the 2014 spring semester and participated in spring drills .  

HIGH SCHOOL:   

• Played safety and wide receiver for coach Wayne Jones, the team finished 9-4 and advanced to the second round of the NC 4A state championships

• Played in the 2013 North Carolina-South Carolina Shrine Bowl, where he had eight tackles, including one for a loss.

• Selected to the Offense-Defense Senior Bowl, but did not play because of early enrollment at NC State.

• Honors:  Earned All-Piedmont Triad 4A all-conference three times.  A 2013 Associated Press all-state selection at defensive back.  Named Piedmont Triad 4A Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.

• Career Stats:  328 tackles, 179 solo stops and 21 TFL, 12 INTs.

• Senior Stats:  104 tackles, five TFLs, five interceptions, seven PBUs; 31 receptions for 424 yards and three touchdowns.

• Junior Stats:  92 tackles, four interceptions and two pass breakups.
