SOPHOMORE (2016): Started all 13 games at tight end … third on the Eagles with 353 receiving yards on 26 catches … averaged 13.6 yards per catch and scored three touchdowns … recorded 30 receiving yards on two catches at Virginia Tech (Sept. 17) … hauled in two catches for 30 yards against Buffalo (Oct. 1) ... tallied four receptions for 48 yards against Clemson (Oct. 7) ... set career highs in receptions and receiving yards against NC State (Oct. 29), finishing the game with seven catches for 78 yards and his first-career touchdown ... earned the Golden Helmet Award from the Eastern Massachusetts NFF chapter … recorded four receptions for 39 yards against Wake Forest (Nov. 26) and hauled in the game-winning touchdown … registered a career-long 24-yard catch and scored on a two-yard TD grab in the Quick Lane Bowl victory over Maryland (Dec. 26).

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2015): Played in 12 games … hauled in five catches for 68 yards … recorded first-career reception for 10 yards against Howard (Sept. 12) … secured a career-high two catches for 18 yards against Virginia Tech (Oct. 31) … tallied a career-long 22-yard reception against No. 3 Notre Dame (Nov. 21).

REDSHIRT (2014): Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-state honorable mention, National Underclassmen Combine (NUC) Tight End MVP, first-team all-county and first-team all-league as a senior ... tallied 27 receptions for 539 yards and five touchdowns in his final high school season.

PERSONAL: Thomas R. Sweeney … earned a degree in marketing from the Carroll School of Management in May 2018 … enrolled in graduate school with a focus on sports administration ... Tom and his older sister Moriah are the children of Annette and Bob Sweeney.
