SOPHOMORE (2017): Started eight games at quarterback for the Bulls, missing four with an injury… threw for 2,096 yards and 12 touchdowns to only three interceptions… rushed for 197 yards and four scores… an Academic All-MAC selection… averaged 341 yards passing and threw nine touchdowns over the final four games of the season after returning from an injury… threw for 193 yards and a touchdown and added a 75-yard touchdown run at Army (Sept. 9)… threw for 184 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 97 yards and another score against Colgate (Sept. 16)… had two rushing touchdowns against Florida Atlantic (Sept. 23)… went 34-for-50 for 313 yards at Akron (Oct. 28)… went 23-of-37 for a career-high 406 yards and three touchdowns against Northern Illinois (Nov. 7)… named MAC East Offensive Player of the Week following the game… went 16-of-28 for 350 yards and a career-best four touchdowns at Ball State (Nov. 16)… was 19-of-30 for 294 yards and two touchdowns against Ohio (Nov. 24).

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2016): Played in 10 games and started nine at quarterback for the Bulls… finished the season 165-for-311 for 1,772 yards, nine touchdowns and nine interceptions... was the Bulls’ second leading rusher, gaining 472 yards and five touchdowns on the ground… saw his first game action in the second quarter of the opener against Albany and threw for 125 yards and a touchdown and a rushed for 60 yards… threw for 130 yards and a touchdown and rushed for a season-high 87 yards and another score at Nevada (9/17)… named Mid-American Conference East Division Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for 178 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 34 yards and two more scores in a comeback win over Army (9/24)… went 28-of-46 for 306 yards and three touchdowns against Ball State (10/15)… became the first UB freshman quarterback to throw for 300 yards in a game… rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 140 yards and another score in a win over Akron (10/27)… finished 23-for-38 for 302 yards and a touchdown at Ohio (11/3).

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year starter for head coach Matt Koziak at Mona Shores High School… threw for 4,491 yards and 50 touchdowns and rushed for 1,064 yards and 13 touchdowns over his junior and senior seasons… Detroit Free Press ranked him as the 38th best prospect in the state of Michigan… named first-team All-State as a senior… finished his career in the top five in state history in career touchdown passes, completions and passing yards… led the Sailors to the state championship game his senior season – their first appearance in nearly 50 years… also played basketball at Mona Shores.
