The Senior Bowl produces several events throughout the year, including the Wells Fargo Senior Bowl Charity Run. What is the date and time for this year’s Senior Bowl?

What network will televise the Senior Bowl?
The 2012 Senior Bowl and its practices will be nationally-televised by NFL Network. The first nationally-televised Senior Bowl was in 1958 by NBC, and the contest has been on national television each year since then.

Each year, the Senior Bowl rosters feature the nation’s top senior collegiate football players and NFL draft prospects on teams representing the North and South.

Who coaches the Senior Bowl?
National Football League coaching staffs coach the two Senior Bowl teams each year. In 2011, Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey and his staff coached the South team to a 24-10 victory over the North team, coached by Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis and his staff.

When was the first Senior Bowl Game played?
The first Senior Bowl was played in Jacksonville, Fla.’s Gator Bowl in 1950, and moved to Mobile’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium one year later where it has remained ever since.

Fans may purchase tickets to the 2012 Senior Bowl by contacting the Senior Bowl ticket office at 251-432-4109 or toll-free at 1-888-736-2695. Tickets can also be ordered online by following this link: PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE. The Senior Bowl also makes tickets available at several outlets in the Mobile/Pensacola area in the weeks prior to the game.

Where can I get souvenirs?
Senior Bowl souvenirs are available during game week at the game’s headquarters located in the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel, at the Mobile Convention Center during hospitality events and the Senior Bowl Experience and at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on gameday.

What band will be performing at halftime this year?
The halftime band for the 2012 Senior Bowl will be the Mighty Marching Hornets of Alabama State University.
