The Reese's Senior Bowl is the nation's most unique football game and football's premier senior showcase event. It annually features the country's best senior collegiate football players and top NFL draft prospects on teams representing the National and American that are coached by the entire coaching staffs of two National Football League teams.
Is practice open to the public?
Due to the current health climate, practice for the Reese's Senior Bowl is closed to the public. We look forward to open practices for the 2022 game week!

The Reese’s Senior Bowl has been sold to capacity for its first game to be played in the state-of-the-art Hancock Whitney Stadium located on the campus of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, on January 30, 2021. As is true for all large sporting events played during the current Covid-19 pandemic, seating capacity for 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl has been significantly reduced to comply with local and state government public heath orders. We are taking every precaution to safely host the nation’s elite draft eligible college football players, representatives from all 32 National Football League clubs, media, and ticket holders.

The first nationally-televised Senior Bowl was in 1958 by NBC, and the contest has been on national television every year since. Practices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be televised live by NFL Network and the Wednesday and Thursday practices will also be covered live by ESPN on ESPNU. The NFL Network will produce hour-long recap shows each evening as well. Check your local listings.

Each year, the Senior Bowl rosters feature the nation's top senior collegiate football players and NFL draft prospects on teams representing the National and American. Only college seniors and fourth-year junior graduates are eligible for the game. Fourth-year junior graduates must have graduated by the December prior to the game to be eligible.
Who coaches the Senior Bowl?
National Football League coaching staffs coach the two Senior Bowl teams each year. The staffs are determined in cooperation with the NFL. The teams with the lowest winning percentage that season usually get the first opportunity to coach in the game, but only if a majority of their staff - and head coach - are intact.
When was the first Senior Bowl Game played?
The first Senior Bowl was played in Jacksonville, Fla., in 1950, and moved to Mobile's Ladd-Peebles Stadium one year later. The 2021 game will move to the University of South Alabama at Hancock Whitney Stadium after 70 years at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
