What is the Reese's Senior Bowl?
The Reese's Senior Bowl is the nation's most unique football game and football's premier senior showcase event. It annually features the country's best senior collegiate football players and top NFL draft prospects on teams representing the National and American that are coached by the entire coaching staffs of two National Football League teams.

 

Is practice open to the public?

Yes, practices will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of game week and are open to the public. Seating is on the East side of the stadium and fans may enter through Gate 01 at Hancock Whitney Stadium.

The Reese's Senior Bowl conducts several events throughout the year: The Reese's Senior Bowl Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Middle School Combine, youth football camps and clinics, NFL Flag Football leagues, former NFL Player Scout School, plus the Mardi Gras style player parade and free concert downtown during game week. What is the date and time for this year's Reese's Senior Bowl?
The 2022 Reese's Senior Bowl will be played on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the University of South Alabama, Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Ala. Kickoff is 1:30pm CT on the NFL Network.

 

What network will televise the Reese's Senior Bowl?
The 2022 Reese's Senior Bowl will be nationally televised by NFL Network at 1:30pm CT. The first nationally-televised Senior Bowl was in 1958 by NBC, and the contest has been on national television every year since. Practices recap shows on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be televised live by NFL Network and the Wednesday and Thursday practices will also be covered live by ESPN. Who plays in the Reese's Senior Bowl?
Each year, the Senior Bowl rosters feature the nation's top senior collegiate football players and NFL draft prospects on teams representing the National and American. Only college seniors and fourth-year junior graduates are eligible for the game. Fourth-year junior graduates must have graduated by the December prior to the game to be eligible.

 

Who coaches the Senior Bowl?
National Football League coaching staffs coach the two Senior Bowl teams each year. The staffs are determined in cooperation with the NFL. The teams with the lowest winning percentage that season usually get the first opportunity to coach in the game, but only if a majority of their staff - and head coach - are intact.

 

When was the first Senior Bowl Game played?
The first Senior Bowl was played in Jacksonville, Fla., in 1950, and moved to Mobile's Ladd-Peebles Stadium one year later. The 2021 game will move to the University of South Alabama at Hancock Whitney Stadium after 70 years at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

How does media request credentials for the Senior Bowl?
Once active in November, there will be a 'Request Credentials' option under THE GAME tab (Media sub-link) at the top of the home page. Credentials are for active, working media only. Only full-time working media will be considered. Credentials will NOT be granted after the deadline of January 21, 2022 at 12:00pm CT.
