The Mobile Arts & Sports Association (MASA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing the civic, social, cultural, recreational, and artistic life of Mobile and its surrounding communities. Since 1951, MASA has donated more than $7.8 million to area charities through the Senior Bowl and its year-round events.
MASA has announced a transition at the Board level. After 14 years of service as Chairman, Angus R. Cooper II has stepped down from his role. His leadership helped guide the Senior Bowl through major milestones, including safeguarding the game’s home in Mobile, securing the longest-running title sponsorship with Reese’s, celebrating the 75th Anniversary, navigating multiple Executive Director transitions, and most recently welcoming Panini America as the new Title Sponsor.
Scott Cooper, who has served as MASA President since 2023, has been elected Chairman. In his role as President, he has overseen the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame & Golf Tournament, the Mobile Baldwin Athletic Partnership, membership programs, and the Senior Bowl Advisory Board. As Chairman, he will continue to advance MASA’s mission of community impact while ensuring the Senior Bowl remains the nation’s premier all-star game.
