Statement from NFLPA Chief Operating Officer Teri Smith

“Our union is built for the players and by the players, and this 75th anniversary team features some of our best and brightest members over the years. We congratulate everyone who made this prestigious list and are honored to partner with the Senior Bowl, which played a pivotal role in these players’ legendary careers.”

Statement from former Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings Offensive Lineman, Steve Hutchinson

“What an honor to be chosen for the Senior Bowl 75th Team.  To be named on the same roster as some of the all-time greats is humbling.  The Senior Bowl was one of the first steppingstones towards the type of NFL career I ended up having.  It set the tone early as to what the league was all about.”

Statement from former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Inside Linebacker, Derrick Brooks

“I am so humbled and honored to be amongst this great group of players, especially these linebackers. Thank you to all the voters. The Senior Bowl impacted so much of my player career and set the stage for me to show the NFL personnel that I was ready for the NFL.”

Statement from former Seattle Seahawks and Washington Commanders Running Back, Shaun Alexander

“What an honor to be on the 75th Team. As I think about this team of Legends that I played against or watched over the years, I am amazed that we all started our journey with this game. Our last time repping our college and at the same time being coached by the pros. I am thankful for the Senior Bowl and congratulations to all the players on the 75th Anniversary Team.”
