REESE'S SENIOR BOWL ALUMNUS OF THE WEEK

Denard Robinson, RB, Jacksonville
6-0 212 | Michigan

The converted quarterback, who made the transition to running back at the 2013 Reese'se Senior Bowl, rushed for 127 yards and scored his first career touchdown to help the Jaguars pick up their first win of the season.

It was a breakout performance for Robinson, who spent most of his rookie campaign in 2013 adjusting to his new position. Last season he gained just 66 yards on 20 attempts, fumbling three times.

"The offensive line fired off the ball, and I was like, ‘I've got to do the same thing," Robinson  "I've got an opportunity, so let's go."

Robinson's touchdown in the fourth quarter gave the Jaguars an 11-point lead with six minutes remaining. His performance prompted coach Gus Bradley to indicate that Robinson could be the Jags' starting back moving forward, even when Toby Gerhart returns from injury.

OTHER FINALISTS:

Murray has rushed for 100+yds in seven straight games.

Dallas RB DeMarco Murray vs NY Giants: Already a winner of the Alumnus of the Week award, Murray ran into the history books on Sunday, becoming the first player in NFL history to rush for more than 100 yards in the each of the first seven games of the season. He surpassed Hall of Famer Jim Brown's prevous record of six.

The fourth-year back out of OKlahoma, who played in the 2011 Senior Bowl, rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' 31-21 victory over the rival New York Giants.

"(Jim Brown) is probably one of the greatest running backs to ever play, and I have a lot of respect for what he's done," Murray said after the game. "In no way am I trying to say I'm on his level by any means. He's a great guy, a great activist in the community, a great player and a great person. And I'm not even in that category I'm blessed to be mentioned."

Murray leads the league in rushing with 913 yards -- that's more than 28 NFL teams -- and seven touchdowns. This is his second Reese's Senior Bowl Alumnus of the Week award this season, having won the honor back in week four.
