ALUMNUS OF THE WEEK - WEEK 5

Baker Mayfield QB | Cleveland Browns
2018 Reese's Senior Bowl

In his first home start and second overall, the top pick in the 2018 NFL Draft delivered in overtime as the Browns picked up their second win in 2018 after going winless in 2017. Mayfield produced his first career 300-yard game (342 yards), completing 25-of-43 passes, with one touchdown and one interception.

Mayfield has brough his moxie to Cleveland and the team and fans are revitalized -- and winning.

"That reputation he had of being a real leader, and guys gravitating to him, that's real," Browns Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley told CBSSports.com.

Through his first three games, Mayfield has entered the game in the second half against the Jets and led the Browns to their first win since 2016, helped the offense put up 40 points in his first start (a narrow road loss in Oakland) and then led the Browns to their 12-9 overtime victory over the Ravens on Sunday.

OTHER FINALISTS:

Dee Ford, DE | Kansas City Chiefs
2014 Reese's Senior Bowl

Recorded two more sacks to push his league-leading total to six as the Bengals (4-1) picked up a 27-20 win over the Dolphins.

2004 Reese's Senior Bowl
Completed 22-of-27 passes for 342 yards and two touchdowns (143.4 QB rating) in a 26-10 win over the Raiders.

2018 Reese's Senior Bowl
After a relatively quiet first few games, the rookie exploded onto the scene on Monday Night Football, catching three balls for 111 yards and two touchdowns, the first TD of his career on the play that pushed QB Drew Brees to the top of the all-time passing yards list.
