Bio

2017 (Senior): Served as a team captain and helped lead the Wildcats to the Big Sky Championship, a school-record 11 wins, a top-10 national ranking and two FCS Playoff wins...Was named the 2017 Big Sky Defensive MVP, just the fourth player from Weber State to ever earn the award and the first in 13 years...Was selected as a consensus First Team All-American, earning All-America honors from the Associated Press, STATS, HERO Sports and the AFCA...Was also a unanimous selection to the Big Sky All-Conference First Team...Started in 12 games at cornerback for the Wildcats...Had three interceptions, nine pass breakups and 49 tackles on the season with three tackles for loss and two sacks...Had interceptions against Cal Poly and two against Idaho State in the final game of the season...Was named the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Idaho State...Also had two sacks on the season with one forced fumble...Had a season-high nine tackles in the home playoff win over Western Illinois and had eight in a win over Montana.  

2016 (Junior): Earned Second Team All-Big Sky Conference honors after helping lead the Wildcats to the FCS Playoffs...Started all 12 games at cornerback for the Wildcats...Led the Wildcats and was eighth in the Big Sky in passed defended...Led the Big Sky with 12 pass breakups during the season...The 12 breakups tied his school record for most breakups in a season and he became Weber State's career leader in the category...Had a pass breakup in eight of the 12 games and had at least two four times...Also had 48 tackles with 36 solo tackles and had five tackles for loss and one fumble recovery.

2015 (Sophomore): Earned Big Sky honorable mention All-Conference honors at cornerback...Started all 11 games for the Wildcats and finished third in the Big Sky in passes defended with 14...Had 12 pass breakups and two interceptions during the season...The 12 pass breakups is a new Weber State single-season record...Had two pass breakups in four wins on the year, against Sacramento State, Montana, North Dakota and Idaho State...Had an interception at Northern Arizona and one against UC Davis...Recorded 44 tackles on the year with 30 solo tackles and 14 assisted tackles...Had a season-high seven tackles in the season-ending win over Idaho State.

2014 (Freshman):  Played in all 12 games and started in five games at cornerback as a true freshman...Finished 10th in the Big Sky in passes defended with nine pass breakups and one interception...Had an interception in WSU's final game of the season at Idaho State...Recorded 31 tackles on the season with 21 solo tackles...Had a season-high six tackles against Northern Arizona and also forced a fumble in that game.

High School: Played for coach Herbie Berry at Sheldon High School...Earned All-Metro and All-League honors and was named the All-Purpose Player of the Year...Led the team in receiving yards and finished 13th in the state in receiving.
