REDSHIRT SOHPMORE (2016): Played in all 15 games, making six starts at cornerback… Had 37 total tackles (24 solo), to go with one fumble recovery, two interceptions and nine pass breakups… Intercepted a pass in season opener against Morehead State (Sept. 3) and again versus Rhode Island (Oct. 29)… Tied career high with three pass breakups in FCS quarterfinals against Sam Houston State (Dec. 9) and in NCAA Division I National Championship game versus Youngstown State (Jan. 7)… Season-high seven tackles at North Carolina (Sept. 17) and at Maine (Sept. 24)… Also had four tackles at Richmond (Nov. 5)… Tallied three or more tackles in five games… Recovered a fumble in Rhode Island game... FRESHMAN (2014): Played in all 13 games, making 12 starts at cornerback… Finished 11th in voting for the Jerry Rice Award (FCS National Freshman of the Year)… CAA Special Teams Player of the Week (Sept. 8)… Two-time CAA Rookie of the Week (Oct. 13, Nov. 24)… Had 47 total tackles (29 solo) to go with 2.0 tackles for loss, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries, 12 pass breakups and five blocks… Recorded his first interception in his first career game at Maryland (Aug. 30) and took his second 43 yards for a touchdown against Saint Francis (Sept. 13)… Intercepted a pass versus Towson (Oct. 11) and returned it 26 yards for a touchdown and blocked a field goal attempt in the same game… Preserved JMU’s win at Lehigh (Sept. 6) after blocking the potential game-tying 27-yard field goal in the final seconds… Also recorded blocks at Albany (Oct. 4), versus William & Mary (Nov. 1) and against Elon(Nov. 22)… Season-high 10 tackles (7 solo) at Albany… Added eight solo stops at Lehigh while recording four or more tackles in four other outings… Career-high three pass breakups at Richmond (Nov. 15).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Associated Press Third Team Class 7A All-State as a junior and senior and Honorable Mention Class 7A All-State Defense by FloridaHSFootball.com as a senior… Played mostly as a free safety at Royal Palm Beach High School but also saw time at cornerback, wide receiver and cornerback… Ranked No. 21 on the area recruiting board by The Palm Beach Post… Led the Wildcats to an 8-3 record as a senior… Selected to Team Florida for the annual Florida vs. Georgia All-Star Game, intercepting a pass early in the fourth quarter, which resulted in his team’s go-ahead touchdown… Also picked to the Palm Beach County-Treasure Coast High School All-Star Game, helping the National team to a 28-21 victory… As a junior, had 19 receptions for 304 yards and three touchdowns while notching 60 tackles and making eight interceptions… Helped PBHS to playoffs as a sophomore, blocking seven kicks on special teams.
