Analysis

The Huskies have continued their success from last year’s PAC-12 championship and run to the College Football Playoff by starting 6-0 in 2017.

Victor (6030/231) patrols the middle of the UW defense and has totaled 19 tackles in five games after being suspended for the opener. Ballage (6030/230) is the definition of a big back and he has racked up 286 yards on 70 carries (4.1avg) and 4 touchdowns after hitting pay dirt 14 times in 2016. Two of the best at their respective positions going at it, that’s what defines our weekly Scouter’s Delights.

Best of the Rest:
Clemson @ Syracuse (Friday): CB #31 Ryan Carter vs. WR #8 Steve Ishmael
Michigan @ Indiana: LB #9 Mike McCray vs. TE #80 Ian Thomas (questionable)
BYU @ Mississippi State: LB #4 Fred Warner vs. OT #55 Martinas Rankin
Nevada @ Colorado State: OT #73 Austin Corbett vs. OB #43 Evan Colorito

Last Week:

Virginia Tech 23, Boston College 10
WR #5 Cam Phillips vs. CB #5 Kamrin Moore
The Hokies bounced back with a solid win at Chestnut Hill, but unfortunately, Phillips left the game late in the first quarter with a right foot sprain. After catching one pass for 11 yards, he only needs four more receptions to become Virginia Tech’s all-time leading receiver. Moore recorded 8 total tackles, while his counterpart at cornerback, Isaac Yiadom, accumulated 5 stops himself.
